Lenovo contacted Richter for help creating a series of media assets to supplement their CEO’s annual presentation to employees. This presentation is vital to the internal Lenovo Culture and is meant to acknowledge accomplishments, plot the future and inspire their people. Hosted by a CEO with a larger-than-life personality, the event was to have a global audience split between Chinese and English speakers. This would be challenging enough, without Corona restrictions hitting in the weeks leading up to the event. All of a sudden, an event that usually would have the benefit of the electricity of a live audience would have to become a digital meeting. How to inspire thousands through their computer screens?

The Richter team came up with a plan for a comprehensive set of assets in the Lenovo CEO’s beloved space theme.

First, there would be two high-end animated videos to open and close the presentation, combined with three shorter, matching videos to introduce the sections of the presentation. Each would feature a voice-acted script in English, with Chinese subtitles, to guide viewers through the presentation. An accompanying PDF slide deck would be shared with the viewers.

With an incredibly tight deadline, the Richter team sprung into action. Lead by our lead animator, Nick Greenlee, all assets were delivered and approved on time for the event.
